Head of Legal – Leading Consumer-Facing Business
The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading UK consumer-facing business to appoint a Head of Legal to join its senior leadership team.
This is a highly visible role within an organisation undergoing significant growth, transformation and investment. Working closely with senior executives and business leaders, you’ll provide commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of strategic, operational and corporate matters whilst helping shape the future development of the legal function.
The business has a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation and the adoption of AI, making this an exciting opportunity for a legal leader who enjoys leveraging technology to drive efficiencies, improve service delivery and support business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on complex commercial contracts and strategic partnerships
- Supporting customer-facing products, services and commercial initiatives
- Advising on consumer, marketing and advertising matters
- Supporting corporate advisory work
- Providing support on governance and company secretarial matters
- Leading and developing a high-performing legal team
- Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Supporting business transformation initiatives across the organisation
- Driving innovation within the legal function, including the use of AI, automation and legal technology to improve processes and efficiencies
About You
We’re interested in speaking with qualified solicitors who:
- Have successfully operated at Head of Legal level
- Possess strong commercial contracts experience
- Have experience advising on consumer-facing legal matters
- Have exposure to corporate advisory and governance work
- Are comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and executive teams
- Have proven people leadership experience
- Have an interest in technology, innovation and modern legal operations
- Understand how AI and digital tools can be leveraged to enhance legal service delivery
- Thrive in fast-paced, evolving and commercially focused environments
