Job interviews for contract positions differ from permanent ones primarily in focus and objectives. Contract interviews centre on immediate needs and a candidate’s ability to deliver results quickly, often with minimal training or onboarding. Employers are likely to prioritise technical expertise, adaptability, and previous experience in similar roles. Questions often delve into how candidates manage tight deadlines, handle transitions, or integrate into existing teams.
