The Team
The Birmingham Restructuring Team is top‑tier ranked and widely recognised across the Midlands market. The team advises on major restructuring and insolvency matters, including high‑profile administrations and complex cross‑border assignments. Clients include clearing banks, private credit funds, ABL lenders, PE houses, corporates and insolvency practitioners.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Newly Qualified-2 PQE Associate to join the Birmingham Restructuring team.
You will work on a broad range of non‑contentious corporate and real estate restructuring matters, supporting senior lawyers and taking responsibility for smaller matters. There will also be opportunities to assist on contentious restructuring work. Business development involvement is encouraged.
Skills & Experience
- At least one Restructuring seat during training
- Strong technical skills and excellent academics
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Client‑focused, commercially aware and confident communicator
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
