The Role
The position sits within a highly regarded Finance Group, with one of the leading Real Estate Finance practices in the market. The team regularly acts for major domestic and international banks, alternative lenders and institutional borrowers on bilateral, syndicated and structured transactions, with a particular focus on development finance. The work is broad and complex, spanning multiple sectors, and offers the chance to work closely with colleagues in Real Estate, Construction, Tax, Corporate and international finance. There is a strong emphasis on client engagement and business development, marketing initiatives and thought leadership, making this role ideal for lawyers who combine technical excellence with a commercial outlook.
What They’re Looking For
- Experienced Real Estate Finance lawyer, ideally with solid LMA documentation expertise
- PQE level from mid to senior associate (supervisory experience desirable for Senior/Principal level)
- Background in lender and borrower-side work across bilateral and syndicated facilities
- Sector knowledge of hospitality, hotels, food & beverage or travel & tourism would be advantageous
- Strong team ethic, collaborative approach and appetite for business development
- Adaptive, flexible mindset with enthusiasm for non-transactional contributions such as training and knowledge sharing
