The Role
The successful candidate will join a market-leading tax practice that works seamlessly with the firm’s corporate, finance, funds, and capital markets teams across the globe. The role involves providing strategic tax advice on a broad range of domestic and international matters, including:
- M&A and corporate transactions for multinational clients, investment funds, and financial institutions
- Cross-border investment and structuring, including partnerships and joint ventures
- Financing transactions, capital markets, and structured products from a tax perspective
- Corporate reorganisations, restructurings, and demergers
- Tax aspects of IPOs and other public offerings
In addition to transactional work, you will also have the opportunity to advise on tax risk management and contentious tax matters, collaborating closely with partners and clients on strategic advice across multiple jurisdictions. Candidates looking to move towards Legal Director or Counsel roles will be seriously considered, and the firm offers clear pathways for senior progression.
What They’re Looking For
- UK-qualified lawyer with 4+ years’ PQE in corporate tax
- Experience advising on transactional tax issues, ideally on both domestic and cross-border deals
- Strong technical background and academic excellence
- Capable of working autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Commercial mindset with proven experience managing client relationships and project delivery
- Desire to be involved in thought leadership and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice
