Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements
  • Managing high-value construction elements of financing, corporate and real estate transactions

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients on construction risk and early dispute matters
  • Driving business development and contributing to know-how initiatives

What They’re Looking For

  • A qualified construction lawyer with 6+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Substantial experience acting on major construction deals with strong technical aptitude
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction agreements (JCT and FIDIC essential)
  • Experience covering development agreements, forward funding and related arrangements
  • Ability to lead transactions, mentor juniors, and manage client negotiations with confidence
  • Strong commercial mindset and an interest in shaping the future of the practice, including engagement with technology-driven legal solutions
  • Demonstrable experience or enthusiasm for working on cutting-edge projects, including data centres and complex infrastructure matters
