A fast-growing health technology company is seeking a commercially focused Legal Counsel to join its collaborative legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a genuine business partner within an innovative, technology-enabled organisation serving the healthcare sector.

The Role

Working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel and key stakeholders across the business, you will provide practical, commercially driven legal support on a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Supporting the sales and commercial teams on customer and supplier agreements.
  • Advising on data privacy, GDPR and related regulatory matters.
  • Providing day-to-day legal guidance to business stakeholders.
  • Supporting legal processes as the business continues to scale and evolve.
  • Helping the organisation navigate emerging technologies, including AI-related initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer who combines strong technical legal skills with commercial pragmatism and the confidence to operate independently.

You will likely have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained in-house and/or private practice.
  • Experience within a technology, SaaS, digital health, health tech or broader healthcare-focused business.
  • Strong commercial contracts experience.
  • Exposure to data privacy and regulatory matters.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across a business and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A self-starter mentality and the confidence to work autonomously in a lean legal team.
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, understanding how to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
  • The resilience and adaptability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to make a visible impact within a growing health technology business.
  • Broad role with significant stakeholder exposure and autonomy.
  • Supportive and collaborative leadership team.
  • Chance to help shape legal processes and ways of working as the business continues to scale.
  • Genuine opportunity to build your profile and grow alongside the organisation.

This role would particularly suit a commercially minded lawyer from a technology, SaaS or health tech background who enjoys working close to the business and is excited by the opportunity to help build and develop a growing legal function.
