Commercial Senior Legal Counsel
Leading professional services organisation seeks Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join its highly regarded in-house legal team. The role can be based in London or across the regions, with flexible hybrid working available.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative Office of General Counsel in a senior commercial role, working closely with stakeholders across the business to enable growth while managing legal and commercial risk.
Offering a broad and high-quality spread of work, the successful candidate will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including master services agreements, public-sector framework agreements, supplier agreements, subcontracting arrangements and third-party agreements. The role will involve advising on legal and risk issues, working cross-functionally with quality, risk, procurement, ethics, data and other internal teams, and supporting client-facing partners and senior stakeholders on complex commercial matters.
You will be an experienced lawyer with significant commercial contracting experience, ideally gained within a professional services environment. Experience of public sector contracting, supplier-side agreements, data protection, intellectual property and wider commercial risk management would be advantageous.
This will suit a pragmatic and commercially minded lawyer with strong stakeholder management skills, excellent drafting ability and the confidence to act as a trusted adviser to the business and be a decision-maker. The ideal candidate will be proactive, credible, solutions-focused and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
