The Role
This role sits within a non‑contentious financial services regulation team advising asset managers, investment firms and regulated financial institutions on UK and EU regulatory matters.
The practice supports a wide range of transactional and advisory work, including regulatory authorisations and variations, regulatory perimeter issues, conduct and prudential requirements, change in control processes and the regulatory aspects of M&A, fund formation and private capital transactions. The work is deal‑driven and highly commercial, with close collaboration alongside corporate, funds and finance teams.
What They’re Looking For
- England & Wales qualified associate with 2-6 years’ PQE.
- Experience in financial services regulation, ideally non‑contentious.
- Background advising asset managers, investment firms or financial institutions on UK and/or EU regulatory issues.
- Exposure to matters such as authorisations, ongoing compliance, regulatory structuring or transaction‑related regulatory work.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, sponsor‑led environments with a strong commercial focus.
