Taylor Root is excited to share that we are exclusively partnering with one of the world’s leading media and marketing organisations, to appoint an exceptional lawyer into its high-profile Commercial & Technology legal team.
This is a rare opportunity for a talented Associate (c. 4-6 PQE) from a leading law firm TMT, Commercial Technology or Data Privacy practice to join a market-leading business operating at the intersection of AdTech, AI, data, digital marketing and media.
You’ll work directly with senior commercial, product, technology and privacy stakeholders across EMEA, advising on some of the most innovative and commercially significant issues in the digital ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on complex AdTech, data, technology and media services arrangements
- Negotiating strategic agreements with advertisers, global platforms, data providers and technology partners
- Supporting cutting-edge products involving audience activation, programmatic advertising, data licensing and AI-enabled marketing solutions
- Leading analysis of complex controller/processor frameworks and cross-border data flows
- Advising on GDPR, PECR, ePrivacy, DSA and emerging AI regulation, including the EU AI Act
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to business leaders operating in a fast-paced, innovation-led environment
- Helping shape the organisation’s approach to privacy, AI governance and evolving regulatory risk
We’re looking for:
- A high-calibre lawyer from a leading City, US or international law firm – or someone who has had this training and is now residing in-house
- Strong experience in Technology, Commercial Contracts, or TMT is essential
- Exposure to digital platforms, advertising technology, SaaS, data licensing or technology transactions
- An interest in the evolving AI regulatory landscape
- Commercial instincts, strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to operate as a trusted legal adviser
