As a Conflicts Manager, you will have leadershp responsibilities and ensure the firm meets its legal and regulatory obligations while delivering an efficient, high-quality conflicts service across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts team
  • Oversee workflows, resource allocation and service delivery levels
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders, Senior Analysts and Analysts
  • Handle complex conflict checks and escalations
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm
  • Monitor performance, set targets and drive continuous improvement
  • Support training programmes and enhance team knowledge
  • Review and improve processes, systems and controls
  • Contribute to wider Risk team initiatives and projects

About you

  • Proven conflicts experience within a law firm (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of conflicts and SRA regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
