Senior Counsel
We’re partnered with an entrepreneurial global medtech company who is seeking a Senior Counsel to support its expanding portfolio of digital health, SaaS, and provider-facing solutions across the U.S. market.
This role sits at the intersection of healthcare regulation, commercial agreements, and product strategy, partnering closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to support innovative, technology-enabled healthcare offerings.
This role is highly visible and with great cross-functional impact. The team is quite business-minded and they look for those who are entrepreneurial in spirit. They have a strong preference for candidates who are engaged with emerging technologies and are comfortable advising on novel or ambiguous matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to commercial, product, and revenue teams across U.S. digital health and software offerings
- Advise on healthcare regulatory matters such as Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Fraud & abuse laws, HIPAA and state privacy laws
- Support the structuring of provider-facing programs, platforms, and services, balancing compliance with business objectives
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, including: SaaS and platform agreements, strategic partnerships and integrations, customer and vendor agreements
- Partner with cross-functional teams on GTM strategies for digital health solutions
- Advise on legal risks associated with evolving business models, particularly where software, services, and regulated healthcare environments intersect
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver practical, business-oriented legal guidance
Ideal candidates will have the following background:
- 7+ years of experience, must have some time spent in-house
- Background in healthcare law with a focus on regulatory and commercial matters
- Demonstrated experience applying AKS / fraud & abuse laws, healthcare data privacy (HIPAA, state laws) in real-world commercial contexts
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, particularly SaaS / tech agreements, platform or services agreements
- Sector experience in digital health / health tech, med device, pharma (particularly those supporting provider or patient-facing programs
- Experience working directly with provider-facing tools or healthcare platforms
- Exposure to product counseling / go-to-market strategy
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments
