We are supporting a well-established, international technology and inline gaming business operating in a highly regulated gaming/gambling sector. With over 15 years of market presence, the company provides B2B software and content solutions that power customer-facing platforms globally.

Headquartered in Europe, the organisation has a distributed workforce across multiple jurisdictions and operates in several regulated markets.

The Opportunity

Due to a combination of team capacity pressures, two interim legal professionals are required to provide immediate support.

These roles offer the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and contribute to a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

Role 1: Interim Data Privacy & Commercial Counsel

  • Lead on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance
  • Support data protection elements of commercial and licensing agreements
  • On occasions alongside external support Handle DSARs and provide operational/data governance support
  • Advise on a range of commercial contracts (heavily involving technology, IP, marketing, software licensing)
  • Partner closely with commercial teams, providing practical and solutions-oriented guidance

Start: ASAP (urgent requirement – Likely Early July Start)

Role 2: Interim Commercial Counsel

  • Provide day-to-day legal support across commercial contracting matters
  • Draft, review and negotiate agreements with the commercial taems (SaaS, licensing, technology, marketing)
  • Support general advisory work across IP and regulatory considerations
  • Assist with business-as-usual legal workload during team absences

About You

  • Proven experience in commercial contracting within a technology or software environment or experience of these contracts in other sectors
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, licensing, and IP-related agreements
  • Experience working in regulated environments (preferred) or ability to get up to speed with regulations
  • Comfortable handling high volumes of contract review and advisory work independently
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Qualified lawyer

The Team

You will join a close-knit legal team of experienced professionals operating across multiple European locations. The function is undergoing continued evolution, with a focus on improving governance, scalability, and efficiency.

Location & Logistics

  • Fully remote role – person must be based in UK
  • Inside IR35

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Day rate: Competitive
