The Role
This role sits within a top‑tier restructuring team advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, creditors and alternative capital providers on complex restructurings, distressed M&A, liability management transactions and special situations.
The work is frequently cross‑border and highly sophisticated, often involving multiple stakeholders, novel structures and time‑sensitive execution. Associates work in lean teams, take responsibility early and are closely involved throughout the lifecycle of matters, from out‑of‑court solutions through to formal insolvency processes.
What They’re Looking For
- England & Wales qualified associate with 2-6 years‘ PQE.
- Experience in restructuring, insolvency, distressed finance or special situations.
- Exposure to sponsor‑side, debtor‑side or creditor‑side restructuring matters.
- Strong technical ability, drafting skills and commercial judgement.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and operating in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments with early responsibility.
