Real Estate Finance Associate/Lawyer (NQ – 5PQE)
A leading international law firm is seeking an Associate from newly qualified to 5 years post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Real Estate Finance practice.
The team is recognised as one of the strongest finance practices in the market, advising leading investment banks, specialist lenders, corporates and sponsors on high profile and often pioneering transactions. The practice is known for its depth of experience, commercial insight and role on first of their kind deals.
The real estate finance work spans complex domestic and cross border transactions, including senior and mezzanine debt, A and B structures, loan on loan and back leverage arrangements. The team advises across a wide range of asset classes including residential, build to rent, hotels, logistics, student accommodation, data centres and offices.
The global REF practice is consistently recognised as a market leader in syndicated lending, acting for both borrowers and lenders on a significant volume of corporate lending transactions across EMEA. Lawyers benefit from exposure to a broad range of financing structures and cutting edge market developments.
The role will involve drafting and negotiating finance documentation, advising clients strategically, managing transactions and supervising junior team members. Associates are also encouraged to contribute to business development and to build strong, long term client relationships.
The successful candidate will have strong technical finance experience, excellent commercial judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative and intellectually rigorous environment.
