Financial Services Associate, Structured Finance – Leading City Law Firm (3-8PQE)

A leading City law firm is seeking a Finance Associate with 3 to 8 years post qualification experience to join its well established Structured and Speciality Finance practice, with a strong focus on FinTech and alternative lending.

The team advises originators, digital lenders, lending platforms, challenger banks and private credit funds on complex structured finance transactions. Work includes securitisations, warehouse and borrowing base facilities, forward flow arrangements and loan portfolio sales across a range of asset classes, including consumer and SME lending.

The role offers a balance of product and funding work. On the product side, you will help clients structure and document new lending products and platform structures from both a commercial and regulatory perspective. On the funding side, you will work on warehouse lines and private securitisations, often using LMA style documentation.

This is a hands on, client facing role suited to a lawyer with experience in banking and finance, structured finance, debt capital markets, real estate finance or asset finance who is looking to broaden their expertise within a fast growing, technology driven financial services practice.

The firm offers a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, exposure to high quality, often innovative transactions and the opportunity to build a strong profile within the wider FinTech and alternative finance community.
