  • Manage frontline risk and compliance queries, ensuring timely, practical and commercially focused advice.
  • Advise on a broad range of regulatory and compliance issues, including:
    • AML and client due diligence
    • Conflicts of interest
    • Professional conduct matters
    • Data protection and GDPR
    • Regulatory compliance requirements
  • Oversee key compliance processes, including information barriers, data subject access requests, declarations of interest, and related governance activities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assist with implementing changes across the business.
  • Support the maintenance of quality and information security management systems and associated accreditations.
  • Conduct policy reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives across the organisation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to promote a positive compliance culture.
  • Prepare reports, committee papers, and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to wider firm-wide risk, governance, and compliance projects.
  • Support insurance renewal processes and other strategic risk initiatives.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Proven experience within a Risk & Compliance function in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations, GDPR, conflicts management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling complex compliance and professional conduct queries.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make risk-based decisions.
