A growing investment firm is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst with a strong quantitative foundation and the commercial judgment to drive investment decisions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical and technical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to influence investment strategy, shape processes, and operate as a key contributor within a lean, high‑impact team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quantitative due diligence and deal execution for prospective fund investments, synthesizing findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership and investors.
  • Monitor and evaluate in‑force investments using data‑driven performance, risk, and trend analysis.
  • Source, integrate, and analyze large datasets to support structuring, risk assessment, and identification of new investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with third‑party administrators and other service providers to support operational oversight.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and analytical tools that track fund performance, operational KPIs, and service‑provider effectiveness.
  • Contribute to investment reporting, risk management, and portfolio analytics across the platform.
  • Prepare and deliver executive‑level reporting that distills complex quantitative insights into clear, commercially relevant narratives.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in financial services with demonstrated quantitative and analytical depth.
  • Strong command of data analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong commercial instincts and sound judgment in evaluating investment opportunities and operational risks.
  • Highly organized self‑starter comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with VBA and SQL is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with precision.
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre‑employment screening is required.
