Financial Services – Senior Investment Analyst
A growing investment firm is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst with a strong quantitative foundation and the commercial judgment to drive investment decisions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical and technical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead quantitative due diligence and deal execution for prospective fund investments, synthesizing findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership and investors.
- Monitor and evaluate in‑force investments using data‑driven performance, risk, and trend analysis.
- Source, integrate, and analyze large datasets to support structuring, risk assessment, and identification of new investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with third‑party administrators and other service providers to support operational oversight.
- Develop and manage dashboards and analytical tools that track fund performance, operational KPIs, and service‑provider effectiveness.
- Contribute to investment reporting, risk management, and portfolio analytics across the platform.
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level reporting that distills complex quantitative insights into clear, commercially relevant narratives.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in financial services with demonstrated quantitative and analytical depth.
- Strong command of data analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.
- Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Strong commercial instincts and sound judgment in evaluating investment opportunities and operational risks.
- Highly organized self‑starter comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with VBA and SQL is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with precision.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre‑employment screening is required.
