Leading global financial institution seeks a senior employment lawyer to join their highly skilled in-house legal team in London focussing on the EMEA region with some international work.

This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, with an interesting and broad spread of contentious and non-contentious employment work on offer. They are looking for an adept and experienced employment lawyer to provide legal support across the organisations large and varied workforce and across jurisdictions. This will include cross-border projects, contractual agreements, TUPE, corporate transactions, restructures, disputes, grievances, disciplinary matters, internal policies and procedures, compensation and benefits, whistleblowing, DEI initiatives, restrictive covenants and terminations as well as managing claims. In addition to supporting on these areas, the role will be to proactively identify and manage legal risk and to liaise with senior stakeholders and work closely with HR.

You will have proven experience as an employment lawyer with over 8 or more years’ PQE in advisory, corporate support and litigation preferably from a top tier law firm and in-house experience at a regulated financial services business is a bonus. Attitude is important in this collaborative team, so the ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, proactive with strong drafting skills, mature, discreet and an excellent communicator with strong academics.
