Litigation & Arbitration Paralegal – US firm – London.

Taylor Root have recently been instructed on a new Paralegal role with a leading US law firm. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Litigation & Arbitration Paralegal for their London office. This is a permanent opportunity.

The Firm

A multinational US law firm headquartered in New York, our client is one of the firms credited for globalising the legal profession. In London, they are known for their expertise in competition, finance, capital markets, and disputes and have been ranked in the upper echelons of the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. Clients include global tech giants, gaming companies, large financial institutions and banks, and corporations.

The Team

The firm’s disputes is one of the larger practices in London, boasting some very high value and juicy cases. The team is often recognized as one of the top litigation and arbitration groups globally, helping governments, corporations, financial institutions and individuals in cases that will regularly dominate world news. They have recently defended a large airline In a commercial claim and a well-known luxury car brand on a claim arising recently.

The Role

As a Paralegal in the team, you will handle litigation and arbitration issues such as securities, derivatives, M&A, sovereign debt, investment treaties, antitrust, bankruptcy, white-collar crime, and employment. You will have substantial work involvement, completing witness statements, legal research tasks, and daily case management, often at Associate level.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of prior experience gained from a leading city law firm in the litigation & arbitration team. If you have strong litigation experience but limited arbitration experience you are still encouraged to apply.
