Overview
A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented lawyer who thrives on delivering exceptional client service, managing high‑quality residential transactions, and developing strong working relationships with key introducers.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients, maintaining high professional standards at all times.
- Oversee files from instruction through to completion, ensuring efficient progression of matters.
- Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with introducers such as agents, brokers, and developers.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, networking activities, and firm‑wide growth objectives.
- Support and collaborate with colleagues across the wider team, offering guidance where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures, risk management protocols, and SRA requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4+PQE in residential property law.
- Experience at Associate or Senior Associate level (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, particularly with introducers and referral partners.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in supporting business development activities.
- Exceptional communication skills and a client‑centred approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
