The Role

You will join a highly regarded Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions team that plays a central role in significant corporate deals and strategic projects. The group is engaged on matters such as large-scale public and private M&A transactions, complex carve-outs, joint ventures, IPOs, and transformational outsourcing initiatives. Typical mandates involve advising on intellectual property and technology risk allocation, structuring and negotiation of sophisticated licensing arrangements, SaaS and cloud agreements, transitional services arrangements, and other strategic IT contracts. The work is truly international, requiring coordination with specialists across multiple jurisdictions on behalf of a blue-chip global client base.

What They’re Looking For

• England & Wales qualified solicitor
• 3-5 years‘ post-qualification experience in non-contentious IP and commercial technology law
• Strong track record advising on IP and technology issues in major corporate or transactional settings
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to manage complex workstreams to a high standard
• Enthusiastic team player, with experience mentoring junior lawyers advantageous
• International experience or previous client secondments desirable but not essential
