Kaspar Bourke is a Recruitment Consultant within Taylor Root’s London private practice team, where he advises law firms on permanent private practice hiring across the UK legal market and Europe. He works closely with clients to support strategic growth plans, partnering with solicitors at associate through to partner level and advising on both individual hires and wider team moves.

Kaspar’s core focus is the German market and the wider European legal market, with particular strength in transactional practices. He is experienced in supporting the build-out and enhancement of M&A teams and regularly advises on related transactional and corporate-adjacent areas. His work spans international and local law firms, and he is valued for his understanding of how platform, jurisdictional nuance and market dynamics influence hiring decisions.

Kaspar works confidentially and strategically, guiding law firms on hiring strategy and advising lawyers on career positioning, market timing and comparative platform analysis within private practice. His counsel is shaped by detailed market insight and a pragmatic understanding of both short- and long-term considerations.

Kaspar brings experience from a boutique search firm focused on the European legal market, where he built a strong foundation advising law firms and private practice solicitors. He is fluent in German and English, enabling him to work closely with European stakeholders and internationally focused practices.
