Haseeb Waheed is a Senior Consultant in the London private practice recruitment team at Taylor Root, specialising exclusively in advising associate‑level solicitors within the private practice market. His practice focuses on supporting junior, mid‑level and senior associates pursuing permanent roles within leading magic circle, transatlantic and mid‑market US law firms in London.

Haseeb works closely with associates across a wide range of practice areas, advising on lateral moves, career progression and market positioning within highly competitive law firm environments. His approach is consultative and detail‑driven, taking the time to understand each lawyer’s practice, technical strengths and long‑term objectives in order to provide clear, tailored guidance. Prior to joining Taylor Root, Haseeb gained several years’ experience at another highly regarded international legal recruitment consultancy, where he developed a strong foundation in private practice recruitment and built a broad network across the London legal market. This experience enables him to advise associates with confidence and commercial awareness when assessing both immediate opportunities and longer‑term career options. Haseeb holds a law degree from the University of Birmingham and completed his LPC MSc at the University of Law in London. He speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi, which further supports his ability to work closely with lawyers from a wide range of backgrounds within the international private practice community.
