Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate

A leading multinational business is seeking a corporate lawyer to join its team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the successful candidate will focus on corporate transactions and corporate governance across the business. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing, global B2C company.
About the Role:
This is a pivotal role at a crucial time for the organisation. Key responsibilities include overseeing all legal matters related to corporate governance and significant transactions. You will be at the forefront of every major corporate transaction and lead on transactions. You will be responsible across legal entity management and corporate governance. In addition to assisting in the incorporation of new legal entities in conjunction with other functions in line with business needs.
About you:
The successful candidate will ideally be a Swedish qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm and/or in-house expertise within a multinational setting. You will have significant Corporate, M&A transactional experience. In addition to significant experience of the Swedish MAR and other listing requirements. You should have solid company secretary/ corporate governance and public market regulation experience. A proven ability to manage complex issues, and a business-focused mindset are essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
