Senior In-House Commercial Lawyer
A leading international law firm is expanding its in-house procurement legal team and is seeking a senior commercial lawyer to support the growth and development of its global procurement function. This is a strategic role offering the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders and contribute to the evolution of legal processes within a dynamic, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial and technology contracts, including complex and high-value agreements
- Advising on data protection and cross-border data transfer issues within contracts
- Collaborating with procurement and business teams to ensure compliance and manage risk
- Supporting the development of junior team members and improving legal processes
- Working with internal legal and compliance teams to meet due diligence and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile:
- UK-qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE, ideally with in-house experience
- Strong background in commercial contracts, procurement and technology agreements
- Solid understanding of data protection, risk management and contract law
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
