A leading law firm is seeking a qualified lawyer for a 12-month fixed-term contract within its Compliance and Risk team. The role focuses on professional liability, insurance, and broader legal risk matters. The successful candidate will support the management of claims, complaints, insurance processes, and regulatory investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and reporting of legal claims and client complaints
  • Draft responses and liaise with external bodies
  • Assist with insurance notifications and renewals
  • Contribute to internal and regulatory investigations
  • Handle contentious matters involving the firm and its suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards

Required Experience

  • Qualified lawyer with 5-7 years’ experience in civil/commercial litigation
  • Experience in professional negligence and claims against legal professionals is preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance coverage issues is advantageous
  • Experience may be from either private practice or in-house roles
