Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support our legal team in real estate transactions and property matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Delaware real estate law, title review, contract preparation, and closing procedures. This position requires excellent organizational skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and review of legal documents related to real estate transactions, including deeds, contracts, leases, and closing statements
  • Review title commitments and work with title companies to resolve any issues
  • Coordinate real estate closings, including scheduling, documentation preparation, and communication with clients, lenders, and agents
  • Conduct legal research and stay informed of real estate laws and regulations in Delaware
  • Draft correspondence and maintain organized case files
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with filing requirements and closing dates
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and government agencies

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law or related legal field
  • Familiarity with Delaware real estate practices and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
