A leading global private equity firm has exclusively retained us to hire its first Corporate M&A Legal professional in London. This newly created role will sit at the heart of European deal activity, supporting complex cross‑border transactions and working directly with the deal team on high‑impact execution.

You will take ownership of the legal workstream on sophisticated M&A transactions across Europe, managing external counsel and ensuring seamless alignment with investment professionals. You will be involved throughout the full deal lifecycle-from due diligence and structuring through to negotiation, execution, and closing-playing a central role in driving transaction outcomes.

The firm is seeking someone with a strong Corporate/M&A background gained at a leading Magic Circle or US law firm, ideally with substantial experience advising on private equity transactions. You should be able to translate complex issues into clear commercial advice, operate with sound judgment, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business while also being trusted to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

This is a rare opportunity to build and shape the legal capability in London within a global investment platform and to take on significant responsibility within a highly collaborative, high‑performing team.
