Director of Government Affairs

Our client, a fast-growing, global information provider focused on data transparency is expanding its US presence and seeking a Director of External Affairs/ Government Affairs.

The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of state law and federal law complexities and regulation in the US, experience with working with multiple state regulators and legislators, strong regulatory and public policy experience and a mix of experience in public and private industry (preferably in the information services, data or technology industry).

A JD is a plus but not required. Experience working in a start-up or small firm is required. Exposure to regulation outsite the US would be a plus.

The role is US-based and requires the ability to undertake regular travel primarily within the US. The role is fully remote but being located in Eastern or Central Time Zone is required.
