**Corporate Lawyer – 5+ Years’ PQE**

### About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join their growing Birmingham team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the largest and most entrepreneurial corporate teams in the UK, consistently ranked among the top three for M&A activity across all UK regions.

The team advises on a wide range of mid-market transactions, with some larger deals, and operates across a broad spectrum of sectors – offering a truly sector-agnostic practice. You’ll be working closely with Directors and Partners, with the autonomy to manage day-to-day deal matters while receiving the support you need to thrive.

### What You’ll Be Doing

– Advising on a broad range of corporate law matters, with a focus on M&A transactions

– Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and Disclosure Letters

– Running day-to-day aspects of transactions with appropriate supervision and support

– Supporting and mentoring junior team members

– Collaborating with colleagues across the wider corporate team to share knowledge and best practices

– Contributing to business development and networking initiatives, both internally and externally

### What We’re Looking For

– 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law, ideally with a strong focus on M&A

– Confidence and capability in drafting and negotiating SPAs and Disclosure Letters

– Experience managing transactions from start to finish, with the ability to handle day-to-day matters independently

– Excellent technical and drafting skills

– Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, organised approach

– A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong client relationships
