The Opportunity
Our client, and elite US law firm is seeking a talented Banking & Finance Associate to join its growing London team. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-value, complex transactions across a broad spectrum of financing matters, with direct exposure to sophisticated clients and cutting-edge deal structures.
The Role
You will be part of a dynamic finance team that sits at the centre of the firm’s global capital solutions offering. The work is intellectually stimulating and commercially impactful, including:
- Direct lending and special situations
- Fund finance and structured credit
- Syndicated loans and capital markets
- Distressed investments and restructurings
You will work closely with multiple partners across complementary workstreams, gaining early responsibility and client contact. The team advises credit funds, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and other financial investors on bespoke, often complex transactions.
About You:
- 2-4 years’ PQE from a top-tier US, Magic Circle or Silver Circle firm, or commonlaw qualified banking & finance solictors from top law firms with the equivalent PQE.
- Technically strong, commercially minded, and collaborative
- Experienced in one or more of the relevant financing areas
- Motivated by special situations, distressed lending, and bespoke structuring
