Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate/Commercial
The Client:
A leading investment manager is looking for an 8+ PQE corporate/commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead legal advisor on M&A and integration queries, providing strategic support to the senior exec team on pre- and post-completion/integration M&A matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements. vendor contracts, investment management agreements, licensing agreements, and customer terms and conditions.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the company’s operations align with legal requirements.
- Advise on corporate documents likes SPAs and SHAs
- Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be an 8+ PQE Corporate and/or commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.
- Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
