Real Estate Paralegal – In-House | Hybrid | Santa Monica, CA

A leading national retail real estate company is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support its busy in-house legal team. This full-time hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with four days in-office and one remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review leases, REAs, and title documents; prepare summaries and due diligence reports.

  • Draft and manage amendments, purchase/sale agreements, CC&Rs, and related legal documents.

  • Coordinate title and survey reviews, escrow closings, and document execution.

  • Maintain legal files, closing binders, and departmental databases.

  • Support large retail transactions and liaise with internal teams, buyers, and tenants.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program required.

  • 3+ years of real estate experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.

  • Strong title/survey review skills preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and document management systems.

  • Notary or willingness to become one.

Compensation:
$90,000-$120,000 base + bonus eligibility
