Legal Counsel – Regulatory

Leading UK financial services organisation seeking regulatory legal counsel to join growing legal team.

You will be integral to the business and assist on all regulatory matters and provide commercially focussed regulatory advice. This will include supporting Lead Regulatory Counsel on all work and advising the Compliance team and the wider business on strategic projects. Knowledge of FCA rules including of the handbook, SMCR, FSMA, COBS, Consumer Duty, MAR are essential and knowledge of the PRA regime is highly advantageous. In addition to the UK, a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and initiatives impacting financial services in Europe is expected.

This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to join a dynamic organisation in a high calibre and collegiate team with interesting and varied work. You will have a strong background in UK financial regulatory law and will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm and have circa 4-6 PQE.

The position is based in London and is offered on a hybrid-working basis with one day a week from home. Competitive salary and excellent benefits on offer.
