Interim Corporate Solicitor – 6/12 month FTC

Interim Corporate Solicitor – International Law Firm – 3-5 PQE.

Our client, an international law firm, is seeking to hire an experience Corporate Solicitor to join their corporate practice in London. This role is being offered as 6 – 12 month fixed term contract, ideally seeking someone between 3 – 5 years PQE.

The Team

The corporate team specializes in the sports, automotive, hospitality, and real estate sectors, as well as the creative industries. They assist founders and business stakeholders with a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and investments, both domestically and internationally. Currently ranked in the Legal 500 (L500), they handle transactions ranging from £50 million and above.

The Role

You will be joining a highly successful corporate team that handles a full range of corporate M&A, venture capital investment and advisory work, working in a wide range of sectors. You will be a key member of the team from the start, with responsibilities including drafting and negotiating a range of documents:

· share and asset purchase agreements,

· shareholders’ and investment agreements,

· articles of association and other related transaction documents.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have at least 3 years of experience post qualification, which will have been gained within a leading corporate team in the city. Corporate experience must include private M&A transactions, with ideally some work with international clients. Due to the urgent nature of the role, candidates must be available immediately or no longer than 4 weeks.
