About the company:

A fast-growing global real estate business who are part of a wider international conglomerate are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their legal team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Group General Counsel. The Legal Counsel will advise on all legal, company secretarial and risk management matters relating to the Group’s businesses and operations in the UK in particular construction and property development, sales and leasing, property management, corporate and general commercial matters. Key responsibilities will include drafting and/or reviewing leases, sale and purchase, development, planning, property management, financing and other agreements and tenancy documents.

About you:

The successful candidate will have at least 7 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Ideally you have experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment for a UK property developer. Expertise in acquisitions, real estate development, construction, and leasing is preferable. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast paced, complex and rapidly changing environment.
