A global hospitality leader is seeking a Managing Vice President & Assistant General Counsel to lead legal strategy and execution for development and affiliation transactions across Europe and parts of Africa. This high-impact role reports to the Chief Legal Counsel, EMEA and is based in London.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within the legal function, with key responsibilities including:

· Leading and managing legal support for development and affiliation transactions

· Formulating policies and process improvements for development legal work

· Negotiating and drafting complex agreements and contract provisions

· Providing strategic legal advice, ensuring alignment with business objectives

· Navigating complex legal issues and making sound judgment calls

· Championing process improvements and legal best practice

· Managing and supervising a team

You’ll work closely with senior business leaders, provide strategic legal counsel, and help shape the company’s growth.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced lawyer (UK, EU, or US admission considered) with at least 12+ years of experience in complex transactional legal work, along with leadership and team management experience.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a deep understanding of issues relating to development and growth transactions, particularly within the hospitality sector.
