Investment Funds Paralegal – US law firm – London

Taylor Root have partnered with a prestigious US law firm, in their search for an experienced Funds Paralegal to join their market leading Investments team. This role will be based in the firms London office.

The Firm

Our client is an international US law firm with over 3000 attorneys worldwide, making it one of the largest private practice firms globally. They represent clients across private equity, M&A and other complex corporate transactions, litigations and dispute resolution/arbitration.

The Team

The firm have the largest and most active funds practice of any law firm globally. The provide advice to investment fund sponsors, institutional investors and other market participants in the alternative investment fund space, representing a large number of Europe’s leading asset managers and private equity sponsors. They are currently ranked in Band 1 for Investment Funds in London.

The Role

You will work with the transactions teams, managing investor/LP transfer files, liaising with clients and local counsel, collate and coordinate KYC and investor subscription documents, complete and maintain drafts of closing checklists, prepare closing sets („bibles“) and other duties when assigned.

The Right Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working as a Corporate Paralegal (Funds Preferred) in a similar top 50 law firm in the city. You will have completed a law degree with a top university and have already (or have plans too) completed your LPC/SQE1. Graduates are welcome to apply for this role however there is a preference for candidates with funds experience.
