Our client, a highly regarded international City law firm, ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers for its outstanding Corporate M&A practice. The team is known for advising on premium and mid-market transactions across a range of sectors, and is seeking a talented Corporate M&A Solicitor to join on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with market-leading partners on high-profile private M&A transactions. The role will involve advising on complex cross-border deals, supporting clients through all stages of the transaction lifecycle, and contributing to the delivery of commercially focused, strategic advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on private M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents including SPAs, shareholders‘ agreements, and due diligence reports.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm on multi-disciplinary matters.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years‘ post-qualification experience in private corporate M&A.
- Experience gained at a leading US/international, or Top 20 UK law firm.
- Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
