In-house counsel – Banking & Finance

Leading financial services company requires Legal Counsel to join expanding legal team.

This is a newly created role to work under senior counsel in a highly collaborative team, but will take charge of a particular business unit that requires support on loans, bonds and guarantees, and broader corporate finance. You will work closely as business partner to that unit, so must be able to transact with limited supervision and build excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You will therefore have a minimum of 5 years‘ PQE and have experience practicing as a banking lawyer at a top-tier or mid-tier law firm, or reputable banking institution in Australia.

This position is based in Sydney’s CBD and is offered on a full-time hybrid working basis with 3 days in the office.
