To support this ongoing expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel, Supply Chain to join the in‑house legal team.
In this role, you will advise purchasing, manufacturing, and engineering teams on a broad range of supply chain matters related to production operations. You will act as a trusted partner to key stakeholders across the facility and collaborate closely with a global legal team supporting sites and special projects worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Advise commercial and procurement teams on a wide range of transactions and negotiations, including drafting and reviewing contracts related to sourcing production components (e.g., logistics, real estate, utilities, NDAs).
- Oversee contract enforcement, including warranty claims, default notices, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing leaders, including on supply chain insolvency issues.
- Coordinate with global Legal and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across jurisdictions.
- Contribute to organizational development and process improvements.
- Monitor and report on market developments affecting the production‑parts supply chain.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 7 years‘ relevant experience gained as a Rechtsanwalt in a law firm and/or international in‑house environment, ideally with a strong commercial background in Automotive and/ or Supply Chain.
- The ability to manage a high volume of complex matters.
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues early, drive projects, and deliver pragmatic legal and business advice.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, earning trust and cooperation from stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and transparently in a fast‑paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- An entrepreneurial approach, high integrity, sound judgment, and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with business‑level to near‑native fluency in both German and English.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and a focus on achieving results.
