VP – Project Finance
A leading global financial institution is seeking a seasoned Credit Officer to join its Project & Infrastructure Finance team. This high-impact role offers exposure to complex transactions across sectors such as digital infrastructure, energy, transportation, and water systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess credit applications submitted by front office teams
- Analyze financial structures, risk-return profiles, collateral, and key transaction risks
- Build and evaluate projection, recovery, and sensitivity models
- Benchmark transactions against industry peers and trends
- Draft clear, concise credit opinions and present recommendations to senior management
- Monitor borrower exposure and recommend appropriate risk ratings
- Participate in external meetings with syndicate banks, rating agencies, and legal partners
- Liaise across internal credit teams to uphold standards and policy alignment
Candidate Requirements:
- 8+ years of formal credit training and experience in project or structured finance
- Strong modeling skills and familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to assess credit migration, default risk, and transaction complexity
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills for executive-level reporting
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
