Growing PE-backed professional services business seeking a Legal Counsel to join its supportive and collegiate legal function.

This is a broad and varied role including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (supplier agreements, NDAs, loan documents, partnerships), supporting data protection and GDPR compliance.

The role will involve assisting with corporate matters, including acquisitions and shareholders agreements as well as helping manage disputes, complaints and litigation alongside compliance colleagues. The role will involve updating internal policies and advising stakeholders with clear, practical and commercial guidance, working closely with the General Counsel and contributing to ad‑hoc strategic and risk‑focused projects.

You will be England & Wales qualified with commercial or corporate experience from a City firm and/or in-house legal team. You will need to be a strong communicator with a pragmatic, business‑minded approach. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently within a small team and engaging senior stakeholders and proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing varied workstreams.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their in‑house career with business exposure, variety and autonomy or for an experienced generalist looking for flexible working arrangements or a 4 day week part-time role.
