A leading global strategic advisory and consulting firm is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to join its dynamic and highly experienced legal team.

This role will have oversight of the regions outside of the US and is a newly created position. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations across EMEA and Asia Pacific, working closely with senior leadership and client-facing professionals.

We are seeking someone who can build relationships with professionals across offices in the region, provide legal advice on a range of matters relevant to professional services, including commercial contracts, engagement documents, employment matters, oversee disputes/litigation and mange external counsel across.

This will suit a self-starter with gravitas, business acumen and who can support the business in its growth objectives, driving continued success. The successful individual will be versatile, resilient, efficient, credible, persuasive, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years’ PQE with experience from a top-tier City law firm and in-house experience ideally from a scaling consultancy, US multinational or professional services organisation. European languages are an advantage.

This role is based in London with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Excellent package on offer.
