A prominent player in infrastructure development and construction, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join their esteemed Legal group in Washington. With a robust portfolio of ongoing projects both domestically and internationally, and a forward-looking approach to future endeavors, this organization is poised for continued success.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Corporate Paralegal will play a pivotal role in supporting various corporate legal matters vital to the operation of the company and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, prepare, and file Articles of Incorporation/Organization and related documents.
  • Assist in transactional activities such as closings, UCC searches, and filings.
  • Manage annual reports and capitalization tables.
  • Facilitate document organization for corporate transactions like acquisitions and mergers.
  • Maintain minute books, manage data rooms, and oversee matter files.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience in a legal department or law firm
  • College degree and/or paralegal certificate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent follow-up capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams to manage timelines and expectations
