Associate Attorney
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all stages of civil litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents with precision and clarity
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and court procedures
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Manage cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff
- Ensure all litigation deadlines and court filings are met in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar in DE
- 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation preferred
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
