(Senior) Legal Counsel – Life Sciences
Our client is a renown multinational company in the FMCG/Life Science sector with their regional Headquarters in the Randstad area in The Netherlands. They are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on research and clinical trials to strengthen the legal department.
About the role:
As a Senior Legal Counsel you will be based at the research office of our client. As a Senior Legal Counsel your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to) protecting the IP rights, designing and implementing frameworks for research and clinical studies, securing the collection and management of personal data and making sure the company is compliant regarding relations with health care professionals and key opinion leaders.
In this role you will often work in multidisciplinary teams, for example together with colleagues from Data Privacy, Finance, Trademark and Patent teams. You will provide ongoing support for research and innovation projects, including drafting and reviewing various types of contracts.
About you:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced lawyer skilled in GDPR and intellectual property and you have experience in a research/innovative environment, including clinical trials.
Besides that, you are;
– A legal professional with at least 5 years of work experience (LLM in law)
– Business fluent in English (fluent Dutch will be an advantage)
– An expert in the field of GDPR
– Experienced in contract drafting and negotiating
– Solution oriented and proactive
– A great communicator
