Privacy Officer

For our client, a well-known company offering customer facing services, we are currently recruiting a Dutch speaking Privacy Officer to be based at their Dutch Headquarters near Amersfoort central station. It is a part-time position with great benefits.

About the role:

As a privacy and compliance officer, you work from our central organization to increase awareness and ensure compliance with privacy legislation. This field holds no secrets for you, and you can clearly explain complex laws and regulations to your colleagues so they can implement them in their teams. As it is a customer-facing organization, the company handles a lot of personal data. As a privacy officer you will also coordinate with other similar companies.

In addition to privacy tasks, you will also handle other compliance topics such as social media, supplier terms, anti-bribery policies, and risk management. Your role will include operational tasks such as keeping the processing register up to date, handling requests, and advising on processor and cooperation agreements. However, there are also important projects awaiting you. When new policies are written, you will also be responsible for translating them into concrete (project) plans.

About you:

– Around 5 years of relevant experience;

– LLB or LLM degree and additional education such as CDPO or CIPP/E;

– Experience with implementing compliance and privacy policies;

– You like to guide your colleagues on privacy and compliance topics and give training to the business;

– You work independently and, above all, meticulously.
