Corporate M&A Lawyer
We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Corporate team of a global top-tier law firm in Melbourne. This is your chance to work on some of the most high-profile and complex corporate transactions in the market, alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, venture capital, and shareholder arrangements.
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and provide strategic legal advice to clients across a variety of sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-practice teams to deliver seamless, integrated legal solutions on complex deals.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of client relationships.
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 3-7 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law.
- Strong experience in M&A transactions, with exposure to both private and public deals.
- Excellent academic credentials and a commercial, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for corporate law and client service.
